Conjunctions

     Dear Sir,

I have been a client of yours for some time, ____(1)____ I was naturally very disappointed with the delivery I received from you this morning. In particular, I would like to draw your attention to the following:

____(2)____ , your driver left the pallets outside the main entrance to our administrative offices, ____(3)____ explicit instructions in my order to deliver the goods to our warehouse on Bingham road. ____(4)____ , as you will remember, it was raining heavily this morning and water seeped into the packaging, effectively spoiling about twenty percent of the merchandise.

____(5)____ , when I checked the contents against the packing list, I discovered that some items were missing. I am prepared to accept this as a mistake made in good faith. I am not, ____(6)____ , prepared to excuse the fact that many of the items actually supplied had completely different specifications to those contained in my order.

I am aware that this sort of thing has never happened before. ____(7)____ , given the seriousness of the episode I feel it necessary to reconsider our purchasing arrangements. I am ____(8)____ hereby cancelling all our subsequent orders.

        Yours faithfully,
